Reaction Catalyst: Reaction Catalyst Coatings Paint Additive Binder TiO2 Pigment and Films. BTP is an effective catalyst for esterification, transesterification, condensation, and addition reactions. Benefits are moderate reaction rates, high yield, easy work-up, low toxicity, and low catalyst concentration.
Coating: Glass, metals, fillers, pigments, and plastic can be treated with BTP to give increased surface hardness, adhesion promotion, coloring effects, heat and light reflection, iridescence, and corrosion resistance, and scratch resistance.
Paint Additive: BTP can be used as an additive in paints to crosslink –OH and -COOH
functional polymers or binders, promote adhesion, or act as a binder itself.
